After great success with the Mens Guangzhou Rams team, the womens rugby team was formed in early 2005 to play their first tournament at the Kowloon 10s. Since then, the womens team have played in most 7s and 10s tournaments throughout South China appearing at the Shenzhen 7s along with the annual Xiamen 10s and winning the Guangdong 10s on 3 occasions.
